Sometimes

Sometimes you screw something up to the point where you are left wondering what to do next or if the most merciful thing to do is put it down, have a ceremony and move on. Every path seems strewn with … Continue reading

I’ve decided to write. A choice that will not be popular with everyone but I take solace in the famous words of Abraham Lincoln, “Screw ‘em.” Maybe that was Socrates, not Lincoln. Regardless, I’ve been kicking around the outline and format in … Continue reading

In 1890 William Knox D'Arcy commissioned Morris & Co to make him a set of six tapestries depicting scenes from the legend of King Arthur and the quest for the Holy Grail. Beautiful laughing children

Had a store full of beautiful laughing children today.

Don’t ever settle for a relationship where your partner tells you the time or the money isn’t right to start a family but refuses to tell you when and how much will make it right. What they are really telling you is the time and the money will never be right to have a family with you.

Don’t live with regrets.

“When I peruse the conquer’d fame of heroes, and the victories of mighty generals, I do not envy the generals, Nor the President in his Presidency, nor the rich in his great house; But when I hear of the brotherhood of lovers, how it was with them, How through life, through dangers, odium, unchanging, long and long, Through youth, and through middle and old age, how unfaltering, how affectionate and faithful they were, Then I am pensive—I hastily walk away, fill’d with the bitterest envy.” - Walt Whitman
